Beware, the account is really shared. I've got a lot of uploaded texts from a Chinese student or even multiple in the app's dashboard. The account itself is registered to a Chinese university.
Using the app for correction purposes only seems fine, though, and it doesn't share what you type anywhere in the app, as far as I know. This review was written with Grammarly's support.
