Quake III Team Arena is a cult computer game in the multiplayer first-person shooter genre, published by id Software on December 2, 1999, the third in the Quake game series and the first to not have a full-fledged single-player mode. Game Modes: Single player - as such, does not constitute a full-fledged single player. The goal of a single game is to complete circles (eng. Tier - link, level) fighting with bots. In each round there are 4 cards, total 7 circles, including the final map. By passing a circle, a new one is unlocked. Also, the player receives "medals" for accurate hits, two frags in a row, etc. Also in the single player game there is multiplayer emulation for playing with bots not on the network (Skirmish, "skirmish").
